- Absolutely incredible experience, beautiful home, amazing hosts! My family and I have been to Costa Rica many times in various locations and hands down, this home, location and hosts exceeded our expectations. Esteban and Oscar were extremely helpful and very communicative with everything…best experience yet! The home is immaculate and you cannot beat the views, privacy and nature! *You do need a 4x4 vehicle.* Plus, with having a vehicle, you’ll have the freedom to experience all that both local towns (Dominical and Uvita) have to offer…. and they both have a lot of fun activities, shops, grocery stores, excursions and nightlife to explore. We enjoyed many wildlife on and around the property, early morning rainforest sounds, local hikes and late night swims. In addition, this property does not lack in anything that you’d need in terms of kitchen utensils/supplies. I hope to get back to Gema Escondida in the very near future! Pura vida! - Jamie, G.

- We stayed at the villa from July 19th-23rd, it exceeded our expectations. Peaceful and quiet. My kids loved the pool and the views were outstanding. Airbnb looks exactly like the pictures. - Absolutely breathtaking place. It is located in a pretty isolated area and you need to be ready for an adventurous ride to get there. Nevertheless, we absolutely loved it. The views are spectacular. The nearby towns of Uvita and Dominical have greats places to eat, and we need every possible excursion and activity within 30-40 min drive. Communication with the host was exceptional! They arranged the shuttle to meet us at the airport as well as 4X4 to get us to the house. Smooth and easy, very reliable, and friendly. - Anna, K.

- I would like to start off by saying the host oscar was amazing! So nice & helpful. As for the house, the house is beautiful amazing views, super clean and well equipped. The inconvenience of this house is the location. Yes it is on a mountain but there is no way up or down only with a (4x4). The hills are so steep you will not feel safe going up or down. Just to get to a grocery store it takes 35mins. You are very far from everything. - Desire, G.
